As golf equipment is quite expensive, it is no wonder that golfers are looking for cheap golf accessories. After spending a small fortune on a complete set of clubs and some golf balls, you will probably want to spend a minimum on golf accessories.

If you are a seasoned golfer, you probably have all the golf equipment that you need but there are always some new golf accessories that you want. For the beginner that is just starting out and has already bought their golf clubs and balls, it can be quite daunting when they realize that there are several items of golf accessories that they need to buy.

The best thing you can do is look for cheap golf accessories online. The online golf stores generally have a very large choice of golf accessories and they can offer them at lower prices because they don’t have the same expenses as the off line golf stores. The first thing that you have to take into consideration is what golf accessories you need to get started.

When talking about golf accessories, it is usually all the golf equipment apart from the golf clubs, shoes, and balls. When looking at online golf stores, you may find that they have individual categories for golf apparel and golf bags, but other golf stores will group them together with the other accessories.

Normally, when you buy a full set of golf clubs, you will get a golf bag and maybe golf balls included in the package. If not, the first major accessory that will be on your shopping list will be a golf bag. If you decide on a cart bag, you will need a golf cart. If you are fit and enjoy walking the course, I don’t think you will need an electric cart which is a lot more expensive and you have the added chore of making sure the battery is fully charged before a round of golf. Your best bet for the price, is a push cart which you push along in front of you. The modern push carts are very light, sturdy, maneuverable, and fold up very small.

That only leaves you with a few items of small cheap golf accessories – a golf glove, golf tees, a divot tool, and golf ball markers. All these golf accessories can be found easily at online golf stores cheaply. If you play your golf in Northern climates, then you will probably need a golf umbrella and a golf towel as you can never guarantee the weather.

Lastly, when first starting to play golf it isn’t necessary to splash out on fancy golf apparel; you can use any comfortable clothes but you must obey the rules of dress code at your golf course. By searching for cheap golf accessories online, you can save some money for a few extra rounds of golf.

Why Short Game Is So Important

Short game is the term that golfers use to describe all shots made
from approximately 75 yards toward the hole or the ’scoring
distance.’ Ideally, we all want to get our balls onto the green in a
single shot. But, that rarely happens. So, you’ll need to have good
short game.

That’s just how it works…

A. The Journey

Golf is a journey that seemingly never ends once you embark. For
those of us who have enjoyed this sport for a long time, we have
come to the understanding that it’s about the ride, not the destination.

We are always trying to improve & we enjoy the feeling as our skills
advance…..

Like any sport, our goal is to get better every time we play. While
the journey is great, so are the advancements in our games….

B. Short Game Is Key
The National Golf Foundation estimates that there are over 36
million people in the United States alone that play golf.

Almost half of these people are between the ages of 20 and 40.

Roughly 20% of these players are female. Golf fans spend an
enormous amount of money every year on golf equipment and golf
course fees: an estimated $25+ billion.

$25 billion indicates an incredibly passionate market. Even though
all of this money is spent year after year, the average scores have not
improved very much over.

The average score is still approximately 100. Only 22% of golfers
score better than a 90 (for an 18 hole course). And the par on just
about every golf course is 72.

Not everyone who plays golf has a desire to constantly lower their
score, but, most of us do. The rumor is that the average golfer is
happy to shoot around 85. 85 isn’t bad, but is that the best that you
should hope for?
